Goebel has designed a PCB based signal breakout and Patch Panel that offers a dependable and economical solution for signal measurement and testing. Models are available for standard 19in rack or in stand alone breakout boxes.
There are models accommodating D-sub 78 or 104 signal input and output cables. The design is also adaptable to 25, 37 and 50 pin D-sub connectors. A hinged design on the rack mount panels allows the input and output connectors to be easily accessible from the front of the rack.
Measurement of each signal is possible using standard 2mm Tip Pin probes. Individual signal disconnect can be achieved using one of the provided signal disconnect/test probes or chiclets. The chiclet will break the signal and make both the input and output signals accessible via tip pin probes. Signal crossing and injecting is possible when using the signal disconnect chiclets.
